MyTeeSpot Review “Even Fanboys Need Clothes”
Video games, you can’t play them all the time. Eventually you have to go out into the world and, you know, do stuff. When I game, I usually do it comfortably, in some loose sweatpants, and any shirt that smells clean. But when I go out I do my best to look; what’s the word, presentable. Still, I want to show the world what I’m all about, without all that useless talking.
Naturally, I’ve got to wear what I love: Nintendo. There are countless places to get Nintendo merch online, but by and large, most of it is pretty lackluster. Some of it isn’t even official. Ever see Mario with a purple face and green overalls? Seeing that sort of thing could make anyone lose all the faith in Nintendo they had.
I was recently introduced to MyTeeSpot.com by one of their employees. The website sells T-Shirts and merchandise for most pop culture phenoms, Nintendo being one of them. In fact, they have some of the largest collection of Nintendo T-Shirts I’ve ever seen, all official. They asked if I could do a fair review of their website, and services.
First, I like the way the website looks. I like very little design when it comes to online stores. I’ve seen many online retailers spiff up they’re sites into visual masterpieces, but when it comes to shopping, I’m a total “Man.” I don’t want to browse all day, I don’t want to take my time and enjoy all the gifs and pretty banners. I simply want to get what I need and be done with it.
The selection, as previously stated, is very good. Some sites may have more, but this is one of the cases the term “quality over quantity” was invented for. I didn’t think there were such thing as a bad Nintendo shirt, but I’ve seen more than I care to have seen in my time. The internet is vast. Vast, and sometimes scary as all hell.
One of the reasons people usually stray away from Online shopping is the shipping costs. After all, your local retailer’s shipping costs are usually zero. The shipping costs however were very modest, the lowest starting at 3.45, that is, if you’re on the other side of the world. MyTeeSpot is based in New York, I’m all the way in California. With bare bones shipping, I received my T-Shirts in less than a week.
The prices are also some of the fairest I’ve seen anywhere else, including local retailers. When it comes to their Nintendo merch and T-Shirts, I saw nothing higher than 20$. It’s a terrible thing when you see gaming T-Shirts cost more than the actual games they pay tribute to.
Verdict
If you’re looking for the best selection of Nintendo Wear on the web, I don’t know of a better place than MyTeeSpot.com. Go give ‘em a visit, and tell em prettymanfairy sent ya. Now to dampen the moment, a picture of Beaux trying to look majestic.

Golden Sun: Dark Dawn – Fact Sheet, Images
It’s Always Darkest Before the Dawn
A classic role-playing game branches out with a new look, countless
adventures and heroic battles. The game picks up 30 years after the first two
games in the series left off. At the end of Golden Sun: The Lost Age, the
heroes succeeded in bringing the world-healing power of the Golden Sun back
to the world of Weyard. In the years since, the immense power of the Golden
Sun has changed nearly everything. Continents have shifted. New countries
have emerged. New species have appeared. But the world is now imperiled by
a new threat. Psynergy Vortexes, which suck the elemental Psynergy from
both the land and power-wielding Adepts alike, are spreading across the world.
The new generation of heroes – the children of those from the previous games
– are drawn into the mystery behind the vortexes, as they cross a chaotic world
that is succumbing to a new evil.FEATURES:
• Amazing graphics and beautifully animated summoning abilities that span both
Nintendo DS screens let players experience the game like never before.
• The story takes place 30 years after the final events of the second game, when the
Golden Sun Effect occurred. The main characters are the descendents of the
previous game’s heroes.
• Intuitive touch-screen control has been implemented throughout the game, controlling
character movements and the release of Psynergy – magical abilities with powerful
effects over people and the environment. Touch control also streamlines battle
commands and gives players a stronger tactile connection to the action on the
screen.
• Players will explore a vast and beautifully rendered world where they will find many
treasures, encounter dangerous creatures and manipulate objects blocking their
path. Players will also hunt for and collect Djinn, mysterious elemental creatures used
to summon powerful spirits in battle.

Kirby: Epic Yarn – Fact Sheet, Images
Kirby Offers a New Take on String Theory
Kirby’s first console platform game since the Nintendo 64™ days
introduces an amazing new look based on animated yarn and a
world of cloth and textiles. The creative approach is woven
directly into the game play and allows the ever-morphing Kirby™
to take on a variety of new forms. It’s a one-of-a-kind platformer
that lets players explore high and low for hidden objects and fun
adventure.FEATURES:
• The look of the world is stunning, but it’s also interactive. Pulling on stray
threads might reveal hidden areas. When Kirby literally goes behind the
scenes, the virtual fabric warps and bends to show his location.
• Thanks to his versatile yarn composition, Kirby can take on a variety of forms
both in his common actions and when he transforms into powerful vehicles.
When Kirby dashes, he zips around as a car. In water, he turns into a
submarine. At times he can even transform into a massive robotic tank, a
UFO and other vehicles.
• Two players can play through the entire game together*.
• Gems and collectible items are scattered throughout the environments for
players to find.
